1) Director of Marketing & Communications – Texas
For-profit hospital, rural setting. Reports to a great CEO.
Directs the organization’s media activities, including institutional publications, promotions, advertising and community events. Assists administration in communicating key issues to employees and community as needed. Works with medical staff to develop programs, brochures, advertising campaigns and media events to promote specific services. Serves as official hospital spokesperson or designates appropriate spokesperson as directed by administration. Represents the organization on various government, civic and community boards. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Requires four to six years of work experience in related fields above

2) Newly Created, VP of Business Development, Southeast: 200 bed, 2-campus, not for profit hospital; proven experience in hospital business development and project management; will consider consultant background; Master’s required; strategic, business and network planning and market information activities for System; strategic thought leadership and strategic and business planning expertise; reports to great CEO; oversees and leads the formulation, monitoring, and update of the system strategic plan, oversees the development of site strategic plans in collaboration with site presidents and VPs of business development, and ensures alignment of site strategies with the system strategy; identify, evaluate, implement and monitor system-wide growth strategies designed to achieve revenue and volume targets and assists the system CEO with planning and evaluation of system network development strategies including mergers/acquisitions, strategic partnerships and affiliations, and new market entry strategies; supervisory oversight of the members of the business development team; development and implementation of system growth strategies, blueprint for expansion, and network development strategies; defines success measures for enterprise strategies; oversees the process for identification, prioritization, and advancement of major strategic initiatives.
