Nurse Practitioner – Infusion Center
Large Hospital system in the Bay Area is looking for a NP to join their team at the Infusion Center.
Requirements: Expert clinical judgment skills to function in the independent role in the Infusion Center
Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills in order to collaborate with patients, families, staff, providers, and community health team
Ability to work with multiple demands and stress resulting from a busy clinical setting and changing organization
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to problem situations; identifies the need for and activates emergency protocols as needed
Ability to be self-directive and demonstrate initiative in addressing responsibilities of the position
Ability to utilize appropriate problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally and across disciplines outside specific area of expertise; proven ability to collaborate and team build with the goal to improve the patient experience and deliver high quality care
Contributes to team building through participation in unit programs and meetings; contributes to positive morale through the development of formal and informal educational programs for unit based staff
Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession
Current California RN license
Current California NP license
1-3 yrs. related experience as Nurse Practitioner
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
Current NP Furnishing License and verification of experience to furnish
Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANCC: American Nurses Credentialing Center, or AANP: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) certification required within one year of hire
Three or more years Oncology experience
