We are partnering with a leading, highly respected healthcare organization in California to identify an accomplished Executive, Operations – Ambulatory Surgery Center. This executive-level role offers the opportunity to lead ASC operations across a defined region, with responsibility for quality, patient experience, operational performance, and financial results.

This position is ideal for a seasoned healthcare leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working closely with physicians and senior leadership to drive strategic and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight of Ambulatory Surgery Center operations across a geographic region

Drive high standards in quality of care, patient satisfaction, and operational performance

Partner closely with physicians and clinical leadership to support efficient, patient-centered care

Lead financial planning, budgeting, and performance management

Oversee capital planning and operational investments

Implement policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organizational strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Extensive experience leading healthcare operations, ideally within ASC or physician practice environments

Strong background working in managed care markets

Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with physicians

Executive-level leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
