Medical Director Job Opening in Oklahoma

Medical Director job opening located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Medical Director to Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). As a pioneering PACE program provider, the client is at the forefront of redefining how they care for the aging population. In this role in addition to seeing patients the Medical Director will have the opportunity to build and develop the program. Helping to create clinical pathways that insure high quality patient care, utilization review, to operations and finance, this is an opportunity to create a legacy while scaling the program and company to multiple locations and states!

Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves a mix of direct patient care, provider education, and operational oversight. The Medical
Director will be expected to see patients one to two days a week, at minimum. A significant portion of the role will focus on educating and training our existing providers, one of whom is highly skilled and the other relatively new to geriatrics and this facility. The Medical Director will also be responsible for digging into the P&L from a care delivery standpoint and analyzing the ROI of operational decisions. This includes implementing systems and processes to address deficiencies resulting from the extended lack of on-site medical leadership.

Top Priorities in the First Six Months:
The first six months will prioritize provider education and training, bringing the newer providers up to speed on best practices within a PACE program environment. Simultaneously, the Medical Director will begin implementing new systems and processes to address operational gaps. Maintaining a consistent patient care schedule will be essential for staying connected to the daily needs of our patients and the practical realities of the facility.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, details of which will be discussed during the interview process.
