We are assisting a Southern CA hospital with a long list of accolades including recently U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals and recipient of 10 “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades fill a Nurse Manager Emergency Services. We recently filled their director role and know what a great leader this position will be reporting to.

The hospital offers major specialty services, including open heart surgery and neuroscience services. Also, a designated STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Ready Hospital by the Emergency Medical Services Agency. The Joint Commission has also designated the hospital as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and has a long list of accolades.

Job Opportunity:

Come partner with an incredibly supportive Director to lead a team of approximately 140 staff including clinical supervisors, RNs, and techs. A leader who displays positive traits and qualities needed for a successful Manager and has the ability to work with changes in the environment and participate as a team player. Serves as a role model for coordinating and integrating interdepartmental communication and resolution of issues. Performs daily operational responsibilities including ensuring staff scheduled to support census, the department has supplies/equipment to care for patients. Assumes responsibility for maintaining a high level of clinical expertise and adapts to new information, technology, and changing trends in nursing practice.

Qualifications:
Minimum five years’ recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting required
Minimum one year in a nursing manager or supervisor role required
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
BSN preferred
Registered Nurse with current California RN license
Current BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
CEN/CCRN encouraged
CPI or NCI certification within 90 days of hire
