Interim ED Director job opening located in Fresno, California area.
As the Interim Nursing Director for the Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in leading and advancing the emergency nursing team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department for 3 or so months, ensuring efficient patient flow, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team of nursing professionals in providing compassionate care to for their diverse patient population. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in emergency nursing or a related field. Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in emergency nursing practices and procedures. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including strategic planning, team building, and change management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in emergency nursing. Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and excellence in nursing practice.
