Essential Job Functions:

Staff scheduling and maintenance of payroll hours for ED and RCAS
Supervises, directs, coaches and mentors’ staff while ensuring quality of care
Financial management and oversight of the departments
Supervision of RCAS volunteers

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of ED experience
2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience

Education:

A.S. or BSN graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred

Certifications and Licenses:

MT nursing license

Position Summary:

The Health Center is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to join our team in the emergency department and EMS setting. Essential duties of the position include scheduling and maintaining payroll hours, supervising and mentoring staff, collaborating with medical staff, and ensuring the highest degree of clinical performance.

Newly remodeled 7 bed ER, see about 525 visits per month.
10-12 fte’s plus per diems.
This Director will also be over the volunteer ambulance service-40-50 emt’s.

Situated on the Yellowstone River, this town is the center of trade for the area. Oil and agriculture are the main industries, and crops include grains, sugar beets, corn, beans and hay. The area offers excellent fishing for many warm-water species, including the huge prehistoric paddlefish. You can also hunt for agates along Yellowstone, or hunt big game, waterfowl and upland birds. Straddling the North Dakota-Montana border nearby is the Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site.
