ENT Physician Job Opening in California

ENT Physician job opening located in Sacramento area of California.

Independent, Non Profit Community Hospital will serve as sole physician for the service line. Requires generalist skill set (rhinology and allergists may qualify, as long as they recognize the role is 100% generalist). While call is 1 in 4, the nature of the role as the sole physician means that the physician may get called on non-call days (this could change with back-up on call, not yet approved).

• Schedule is 4 days, 10 hours with every Friday off.
• Current volume is 20 to 25 patients a day based on a 30-minute appointment window per patient (the new physician may choose to shorten the appointment schedule to allow for more patients per day).
• Large referral base.
• First year of salary is guaranteed but can be exceeded through productivity RVUs, then moves to the variable pay based on RVU, Value Up’s, etc.
• Established practice.
• LVN & Med Assistant support.
• Vertigo protocol (audiologist and physical therapy evals prior to ENT physician appointment).
• Block Surgery Schedules.
• Support in OR includes Scrub Nurse, Circulator. This can be determined by the physician. It could be an OR RN or a tech for holding and handing instruments.
• OR options (hospital and Surgery Center).
• Procedure room in clinic.
• Epic Charting.
• High Patient Satisfaction Scores, Volunteer Board of Directors.
• High retention of key administrators (institutional memory and stability).
