ICU RN Manager job opening located in North Carolina.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Unit Manager is a nurse leader who provides direction, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care for assigned area on a 24 hour bases. He/she maintains current knowledge regarding techniques, skills, current practices, and regulations for the age and populations of patients served. He/she manages all personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to facilitate quality patient care. Also functions as a Staff RN occasionally.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina.
- BSN required.
- Preferred:
- Minimum of 3-5 years recent clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills.
- Reports to Director of ICU, compact license or North Carolina RN license,
- 17 ICU beds
- M-F day shift 8am-5pm
