Physical Therapist – SNF / Rehab job opening located in Salinas/Monterey County Area of California.

50+bed Skilled Nursing/Rehab – Five Star Facility with an excellent reputation within the local community!!!  Located in the Salinas Valley of Monterey County, California . Small town with big ideas named one of the 50 safest cities in California. The city is a notable tourist destination, owing to the heavily restored mission, its proximity to Pinnacles National Park, and its numerous vineyards, as part of the Monterey wine region. 

Intensive therapy program is exceptional!!! Patients will not find a more comprehensive program in Monterey County. The therapy sessions are individualized, one-on-one treatments and unlike many rehabilitation programs. They do not do group or co-treatments sessions.

The therapy equipment at the facility is unlike any you will see in a post-acute rehabilitation setting. Firstly, their rehabilitation equipment includes specialized Biodex Unweighting System, treadmill, dual Nu-Step machine. In addition, the sophisticated Biodex balance assessment and trainer. Accordingly, this extensive equipment is provided for one reason: to get patients better and back home quicker.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the planning, provision and coordination of all aspects of direct patient care for a designated group of patients/clients in accordance with established facility and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality care. The Therapist works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical therapy
• Current state of California Physical Therapy license required. 
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
