Pharmacy Director job opening located in the Eastern New England area.
Large hospital.
Responsible for the administrative and clinical direction of programs and services within the facility. Reports to COO; 4 Managers in place-each have 25-30 FTEs.
Over both hospital campuses-one is Level 2 trauma center, Urgent care, clinics, heart hospital and separate site for a Cancer Center to open Q1. They use Epic, PIXIS, and have a residency program, 340B program.
The current Director is retiring after 25 years.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required. Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy (Administration), MBA or MHA required, or willing to obtain within 36 months of hire date required. Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency preferred. Pharmacist licensure in the State of Nebraska required. Minimum of five (5) years hospital pharmacy practice experience with at least three (3) years of management experience as a manager or director of pharmacy required.
