Director Quality Management and Performance Improvement (RN) job opening located in Los Angeles, California.

Large private Hospital. Need someone that can work with people and also perform finance functions and put together Board package etc., but can also buy into vision. Responsible for continual improvement in the quality, safety and satisfaction of care delivery, in the facility and associated clinics. Facilitates performance improvement activities and CQI activities throughout the hospital. Acts as a point of contact to the administrative team, department managers and medical staff. Provides administrative oversight to the infection prevention department.  Will assist in facilitating all regulatory body surveys, i.e., TJC, State Licensing Review, and CMS Validation surveys as needed.

Key job function is evaluates the results of overall performance improvement activities regularly and systematically, and reporting these results to Vice President of Quality as well as executive leadership, Medical Staff and Governing Board.

Required RN, Bachelor’s degree in related health care field required. Masters preferred -MHA, MBA, MSN. Need management experience, 3-5 years clinical and some exposure to Quality and PI-a year or two in a hospital.
