Chief Nursing Officer job opening located in the New England area.
Integrated medical system featuring a 233-bed acute care hospital, employed group of primary care and specialty providers, urgent care and emergency department, an extensive complement of behavioral and mental health services and outpatient specialty practices.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Nursing Officer provides leadership and accountability for the execution of the system strategy for patient care services and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. The right candidate is one who has excellent leadership skills (particularly around shared governance), will hold people accountable to the details, builds a collaborative relationship with the Chief Medical Officer and the hospitalist group, mentors directors, has a business acumen, and will be a visible leader who is not afraid to jump in and help do whatever is necessary to support the patient and staff.
