Endocrinologist job opening in the Whittier or Santa Fe Springs area of Southern California.
Endocrinologist opening for their Whittier or Santa Fe Springs Location.
They are part of a large integrated delivery system supporting 3 hospitals and growing.
This office is part of a multi-specialty with an urgent-care, x-ray, pharmacy and lab in the same location. They have one EMR and NP’s as physician extenders in addition to office managers and 1.5-2 MA’s per physician. The endocrinologist sees on average about 22 pts/day on a busy schedule.
They are looking for the following:
Demonstrated expertise in endocrine diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding an Endocrinology Physician scope of practice.
Experience performing and interpreting thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound guided thyroid fine needle biopsies.
Demonstrated experience with obesity and metabolic syndrome in a clinic setting preferred.
Preferred training in endocrine stimulation testing of at least 10-12 a year.
Ability to consult for endocrine assessment of 10+ patients within 24 hours of requests.
Fellow or certification from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
This position has a salary guarantee, 36 pt contact hours and option to move to partner and production base.
