Overview
We are conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer for a CAH in Iowa.
Hospital system known for their team-first culture and exemplary physician-led focus on patient care coordination. This growing critical access hospital is proud to deliver excellent, compassionate and personalized care to the people of south central Iowa.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for developing and implementing the hospital’s financial plan and strategy. With oversight of the Accounting Services Department and provider contracting, the CFO directs and coordinates budget programs and internal audit procedures. This critical role presents an opportunity to drive positive change and foster a thriving work culture while optimizing financial operations and ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business; Master’s degree, preferred
Three years’ experience in healthcare related accounting and management
Financial experience in a Critical Access Hospital, preferred
CPA and HFMA Fellow status, preferred
