Director of Quality (RN) job opening located in northern Alabama.
150-200 bed not-for-profit, acute care facility. Position open due to relocation of the previous Director.
The quality program is running smoothly and is well-staffed. The Director will have 6 direct reports. The hospital ranks in the top 10% of the nation in patient safety & quality. The hospital ranks in the top 10% of the nation on ER wait times.
The opportunity for the new Director is to lead the department to be more data & statistics-focused. The hospital will convert to Cerner in 2024 and the Quality department will play a vital role.
The hospital is in solid financial condition and it is led by a long-tenured CEO who focuses on smart growth of the organization. The Director will report to a long-tenured CNO who is adored by her staff. The Director must be a nurse. CPHQ certification is desirable. Experience leading a Joint Commission survey is required.
