Controller job opening located in West Texas with relocation assistance.

History:

The hospital is in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital served the community well for many years, but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.

As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our healthcare organization. Reports to the CFO.

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Human Resources to process bi-weekly payroll.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• Three to five years of financial/accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting standards accepted by GAAP/GASB
• Hospital experience is preferred.
