ICU Assistant Nurse Manager job opening located in Orange County, California.

ICU Assistant Nurse Manager (Cardiac or Neuro) 

• Reports to Manager  
• This person will be responsible for 65-70 people
• There are 2 ICU’s, one with Cardiac, one with Neuro, ideally this person would have Cardiac and Neuro and could float back and forth. But if they have just ICU Cardiac or just ICU Neuro that is fine.
• 3 years charge nurse experience (if they are a superstar and don’t have that still send them)
• Bachelors Required, need to acquire Masters within 1 year of working at company if they don’t have.
• Need Certification in a similar department (CCRN, or Tele Certified, or some kind of ICU Neuro or ICU Cardiac Cert)
• ICU Mgr has been there 14 years; she is a servant leader, likes to work with the team and be available and she is assertive; she protects nurses and is a very passionate leader.
• They are a certified Trauma Center, Stemi Receiving, & Gold Stroke Plus; these units are involved in meeting all of these metrics.
• Looking for a strong leader that has mission values.
• They are opening a 700 million dollar new tower; the company is growing a lot and there are opportunities to grow in this 50+ hospital site system and especially at this location.
