Director ICU Job Opening in Southern California

Director ICU job opening located near San Diego area of California.

Need 3-5 years ICU and management experience. Will take strong manager. 20 Bed ICU-Position reports directly to the CNO.

Approximately 60 FTEs when fully staffed, including: Four Clinical Supervisors (two day/two NOC). RNs, Patient Care Techs and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Want someone who is an experienced leader, preferably at the director level, definitely at the manager level;
• ICU experience and clinical knowledge is a must.
• Heart experience preferred.
• Acute-Care Hospital experience required, recent experience preferred.
• Looking for someone who will love on the team (compassionate, interested, motivating) and will also hold the team accountable to hospital and unit objectives.
• Current California RN license required.
• Prefers to work in a union-free environment, and is comfortable in proactively supporting one. 

Relocation Reimbursement is available for candidates outside of 50 miles. Sign-On Bonus may be available. Position is vacant because existing candidate (strong performer) relocated to the east coast for her spouse’s new job.
