• Looking to fill asap
• The job is more Controller than it is Corp Dir of Finance
• Need a sharp finance person, CEO is a former CFO
• Does NOT have to be a CPA
• Reports currently to VP of Finance
• Room for growth
• MOST IMPORTANT THING: Strong in month end!
• Ideally someone from a stand alone hospital, someone at a large system is not hands on – they need a HANDS ON PERSON
• They have an A+ rating, and they maintained it; it should have went down because of current state of hospitals but because they are strategic and have cash on hand they were kept at A+ rating. This is rare and a great selling point.
• This is a newly created position, kind of a combination of a bunch of things, oversees payroll, accounts payable, they have someone who handles the finances for their clinics.
