A large health system in NC, has a need for a Manager of The Women’s Birthplace and Pavilion at their 150+ bed hospital.
The Unit Nurse Manager has 24-hour responsibility at the unit level for planning, facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating patient care services, personnel, and budgeting process.
The unit nurse manager understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
23 beds for M/B
13 beds for L&D (10 LDR + 3 Antepartum) + 2 OR’s
8 beds for Special Care Nursery
108 FTEs
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in a nursing management role and two years of current clinical nursing experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing and national certification required.
Master’s degree in nursing or related degree preferred.
Licensure/Credentials:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina with no substantiated findings.
Also seeking team building, HCAHPS/PRC experience; someone that is a team player and self-directed.
Monday – Friday day shift with additional hours as needed to include weekend and call.
