Position Title: Manager, Provider Networks
Reports to: Dir. Financial Planning
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for analysis, monitoring, and oversight for a wide variety of complex contracts, including third party payers.
Provides ongoing maintenance of contracts to ensure compliance.
Responsible for Contract modeling through nThrive.
Monitors accounts receivable by reviewing all payer accounts, ensuring all accounts are processed and identify barriers causing delay in payment.
Work closely with executive group and physician-hospital organization (PHO) leadership to secure competitive contracts.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree
Special Skills and Experience:
Three to five years’ experience in managed care related management position dealing directly with payers, providers, and intermediaries.
Minimum of 10 years healthcare finance experience.
Minimum of 5 years in the Business Office/Managed Care related management position dealing with payers by analyzing data.
Proficient in the use of computer software. Skills a) HBOC; b) Excel; c) Word; d) Access; e) ICD10, CPT, DRG coding requirements.
Special Skills/Qualifications:
Accounts Receivable, General Business Office Equipment, Electronic Claims Processing; Communication Skills with emphasis on payer and providers.
