Large FL hospital is looking for a Manager, Supply Chain Services.
Department Name: Supply Chain
Reports to: Administrative Director, Supply Chain
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Admin Director, Supply Chain, this position is responsible for managing and directing the Procurement, Supply Contracting, Warehouse Distribution, Shipping and Receiving, and Inventory Control functions of LRMC.
The position is also responsible for coordinating savings opportunity through the implementation of Group Purchasing Organization and local contracting efforts.
Authority to coordinate all product conversion within Central Supply areas in order to ensure proper implementation of conversion processes in coordination with the Clinical Resource Managers.
Assumes operational authority for department in the absence of the Admin Director.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Health Service Administration or related fields.
Special Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience is acute care supply chain activities; demonstrated proficiency in Materials Management Information Systems, distribution models, Point of Use systems, and inventory variance analysis.
Demonstrated proficiency in expense reductions, benchmarking and Group Purchasing Organization compliance.
