Play – In this community the hospital cares for its friends and family. Staff run into patients all over town. The Case Management department literally gets to help its friends and family in the community navigate their hospital stay and their journey to wellness.
Purpose – Without a well run Case Management and Social Work function, the people served by this hospital would be lost in this difficult to manage healthcare environment. This case management team serves an important purpose in access, utilization and delivery of care.
Potential – The person awarded this position will be able to participate throughout the hospital and the community, from education to professional development, this is a position that will allow for using creativity, skill and new ideas.
This is a well run department with staff who are ready for that next level of leadership to increase their professionalism. This is an ideal position for somebody who is wanting more work/quality of life balance and loves leading a small team.
