Nurse Educator, Critical Care job, MD

Located in the Mid Atlantic our location can offer a variety of options for living, from City to Rural. The area is very accessible to all needed services, historical and cultural offerings.

We are seeking an RN MSN with a focus in Education. The Nurse Educator will be responsible for Critical Care staff orientation, annual staff competencies, equipment training, and classes for new Residents. Responsibilities include teaching CPR classes, Periop consortium, and other organizational training sessions. Also, will have a direct influence on nursing practice and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

• BSN and Master’s required
• National Certification; preferred (either a Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development, or ASTD)
• Previous education/teaching experience preferred
• 3-5 years of experience
• Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Healthstream
• Critical thinking skills
• Flexibility; Teamwork; Creativity and Innovation
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 plus benefits
