Clinical Practice Specialist Med/Surg job, MD

Solid opportunity to have an impact on Patient Care in a 200+ bed hospital working with a close knit group of Surgeons and Clinical staff.

Seeking a RN with strong med/surg skills to develop and maintain competence among clinical nursing associates and provide consultation directed at expanding and enhancing clinical nursing practice.

The Specialist will function as clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, role model, and change agent to positively influence quality of patient care.

Requirements include:

• Maryland Nursing License
• Master’s degree in nursing or education
• National certification in area of expertise
• 5 years of recent experience in acute care setting, experience in education/training, and performance improvement initiatives
