The Nurse Manager is responsible for directing the provision of nursing care for Mother/Baby Unit and Newborn Nursery on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis.
The Manager supervises and monitors professional and non-professional staff, and ensures effective, safe, and therapeutic nursing services meet established Hospital and accrediting agency regulations and guidelines. Area consists of a 22-bed Mother/Baby and 50 Bassinets. Will oversee 49 FTEs and a $4M budget. Volumes equal 2200 births a year with high risk and complex case management. This position reports to the Senior DON for Women and Children Services.
Requirements include:

Nurse License from an accredited School of Nursing

Bachelor’s degree
-
5+ years of progressive nursing experience with preference for demonstrated progression in supervisory responsibilities

Experience in similar size operation

Basic computer skills
