Summary:
The Director provides oversight and direction to the Post-Surgical department and the Bariatric New U Clinic. The Director is responsible for effectively directing the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients in the assigned departments on a 24-hour, 7 days/week basis. The Director has a broad vision for service lines he/she is responsible for. The Director is responsible for meeting the strategic initiatives that highlight the “Five Pillars of Success”(Growth, Service, People, Quality, and Financial). The Director espouses the mission, values and ethics of the corporation, hospital and nursing department and serves as a professional role model.
Qualifications:
•BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing, Master’s degree preferred
•Current Idaho Registered Nurse license, AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification and all hospital mandatory requirements.
•Demonstrated successful experience in management with financial responsibilities, minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an Orthopedic or similar unit and 2 year management experience.
•Managed interactions with physicians, nursing staff, staff in other departments, patients, families and the public effectively.
•Must have the sensitivity, maturity and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
•Strong leadership abilities: professionalism, common sense, critical thinking skills, flexibility, honesty, and a service oriented attitude.

Salary Range: 85K-100K
