Central Sterile Technician job, MD

Performs cleaning and decontamination activities for surgical instruments, procedure trays, and patient care equipment. Provides specialty support to specialty OT Teams. Incorporates knowledge of techniques, procedures, use of equipment, and Hospital and Department policies necessary for efficient and accurate job performance.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Central Sterile Technician Certification required
• Medical terminology; Medical equipment
• Less than 1 year experience
• Required to rotate days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet unit staffing needs
