A 300+ bed hospital on the Eastern shores of FL near Melbourne, has a need for an experienced Hospitalist NP to join their team. They will consider new grads if you have recent RN experience in a hospital setting, preferably in ICU or ER. This is a night shift position working 7 on 7 off.
History and physical, screening for problems, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, initiating and regulating medications, activity level, diets and therapy, counseling and teaching, interceding in acute medical emergencies, performing procedures, obtaining diagnostic specimens, managing medical problems or other authorized functions, consulting with and/or referral to appropriate providers/specialists, and other procedures for which ARNP has been educated to perform. Physician(s) need not be present when authorized procedures are carried out but must be available for consultation or advice either in person or by communication devices. Appropriate physical substitute will be provided when directing physician(s) is/are not available.

Work Setting: Hospital Base
Shift times: 6:30pm – 6:30am
Shift requirements: 7 on 7 off
No On-Call Shifts required
Educational Requirements:
| 1. Current license to practice as an ARNP in Florida. |
| 2. Master’s Degree in Nursing required. |
Experience Requirements:
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in clinical specialty area preferred.
- Ability to lead a team.

Salary: We offer new graduates between $85,000-$90,000 per annum. Depending on relevant years of experience and internal equity we will go up from there.
