CPA and MBA mandatory; profit experience desired; prior executive level experience (ACFO or higher); recent acute care exp; prefer prior public accounting exp; responsible for overseeing closing of books; understanding reimbursements, contractuals, revenue side; able to review and reconcile accounting entries; must have Financial Planning experience and able to analyze data; strongly prefer prior experience with decision support; understand reimbursements and payor denials; reports to CFO; oversight of Accounting, Payroll, A/P, Treasury Management, Reimbursement, and Utilization Management; monitors all regulatory and government agencies reporting, including bond compliance; proficiency with current accounting literature a must; oversight of month end closes and financial statement reporting, financial audits and tax return preparation, third party reimbursement reporting and compliance, and Utilization Review; in coordination with decision support, oversees budget preparation and ongoing variance reporting; understanding of revenue cycle, reimbursement contractual analysis, and the impact on financial reporting as required; salary $150-180k plus bonus potential.
