Revenue Cycle Director job, CO

A small hospital located in Colorado, has a need for a Revenue Cycle Director for Physician Practices.  This hospital is a 90-bed hospital located in Colorado in the heart of the Rockies.  It is also a Designated Planetree Hospital, 1 of 10 in the world, indicating our commitment to patient-centered care.  It has been recognized by HD Powers for excellence in patient care, as well as receiving national recognition for hospital building design.

Coordinates and directs patient professional billing and collections for the hospital’s clinics including a variety of physician specialty clinics and family practice centers.  This includes the coordination and supervision of the entire posting, billing, and collections operations, ensuring that accounts receivable records are current and accurate.

This hospital has 17 specialty practice clinics and family practice clinics in surrounding town  for which this department bills.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

BS or BA in Business Administration OR equivalent OR 10 years patient financial experience.
Preferred HFMA Certified Manager of Patient Accounts
At least 5 years management experience.
5 years credit collection experience
