We are working with an Excellent hospital organization in the WA market looking for a RN Ambulatory Clinic Nurse Manager to oversee multiple Speciality Clinics. This institution is highly respected and has an extremely supportive leadership team.
Outpatient experience is a must!
BSN is required, Master’s preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a medical setting.
This is a newly created position.
Overview:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for directing the nursing, business, technical and support activities of the ambulatory medical clinic. Oversees administrative and clinical functions of the clinic including operations, facilities, finance and human resources.
This position is responsible for building and revitalizing a clinic which is integral to meeting the financial, patient care, teaching missions of the healthcare institution.
Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with medical leadership and staff, demonstrated ability to manage the financial performance of the clinic, demonstrated knowledge of ensuring compliance with billing policies, demonstrated ability in process improvement to optimize clinic flow and operations, demonstrated interpersonal skills in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilities cooperation and collaboration to meet goals. Ability to have tough conversations as needed, counsel staff and utilize corrective disciplinary process as needed, knowledge of The Joint Commission, DOH and other regulatory agency standards, and demonstrated excellence in customer service in daily interactions with patients, family members and medical staff.
