Chief Nursing Officer
Beautiful bedroom-community hospital in the heart of the strongest urban market is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to energize the division of nursing and provide focus and vision for a great group of nurses going forward! Hospital is in the 100-150 bed size, is not-for-profit, faith-based, part of a market-dominant integrated system. All service lines are represented, including a dedicated pediatric ER; Level III adult ER; a very active ortho/neuro surgical program; strong Maternal/Child program, including a Level III NICU; Cardiovascular & Cath program. The hospital embraces a relationship-based model of care.patients have given the hospital rave reviews! The ideal candidate will be a strong program builder (magnet, shared governance, etc.), is current in healthcare trends, issues, is good with metrics, and is a people person! Someone who truly embraces the 360-view of care that encompasses patients, families, self, and all members of the healthcare team. Requirements: Five years of senior-level nurse executive experience, currently serving as CNO preferred; 10 years of progressive nursing management experience; Master’s degree required (Master’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing required); Nurse Executive certification or eligibility.
